Little Peppa Pig Crochet Pattern
I have been exceptionally busy at work (and at home) the last few weeks, so although I am desperate to share my pattern for Gemina the Amamani Giraffe with you (and probably host another pattern give-away), it takes time to prettify a blog post and answer all your wonderful comments…time I just don’t have at the moment. It feels like our life is a never-ending cycle of working late and attending kids parties. So to tide you over until I can get my act together, I am sharing this Little Peppa Pig Crochet Pattern with you.
Peppa Pig is the star of a (very popular) British kids cartoon. The cartoon features a whole host of creatures. But the main characters are Peppa Pig, George Pig, Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig…oh and Grandpa Pig!

This crochet pattern works up very quickly and yields a little Peppa Pig that is roughly 12 cm high from the tips of her ears to the tips of her toes. The only bit that needs to be surgically attached is the head. Everything else (arms and legs) is joined together as you crochet, saving you time and sparing your patience.
Unfortunately you are going to have to embroider the face. There is just no getting around that one. It doesn’t take long, but if you are anything like me – and I HATE having to swap my hook for a needle – this little fact might make you roll your eyes a bit.

I have already done the patterns for George Pig, Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig, and will be publishing them soon(ish), so if you want to complete the whole piggy family, remember to pop in again at some point for the other patterns.
